# Grok Bot

> Grok Bot, released in beta on 11 August 2026, gives each bot its own computer in the cloud and has no self-hosted option; its vendor is SpaceXAI, the name xAI took after being folded into SpaceX as a subsidiary.

Always-on managed personal agent from SpaceXAI, formerly xAI.

- **Category:** Personal Agents
- **License:** Proprietary (managed service)
- **Language:** N/A (managed service)
- **Self-hosted:** No
- **Last verified:** 2026-10-05

> Caveat: Vendor naming is easy to get wrong: xAI was folded into SpaceX and renamed SpaceXAI, and sources differ on whether this completed in May or July 2026. Access is bundled with SuperGrok, Cursor Pro+/Ultra and Cursor Teams plans.
