Microsoft's enterprise SDK for LLM orchestration, now in maintenance mode.
Semantic Kernel, first released on 17 March 2023 and used inside Microsoft 365 Copilot, has been merged with AutoGen into Microsoft Agent Framework; Microsoft committed to at least one year of critical fixes on Semantic Kernel v1.x after MAF's 1.0 GA, with all new features going to MAF.
Caveat: In maintenance mode following the merge into Microsoft Agent Framework; only critical fixes are expected.
