Agent Identity Protocol (AIP)
An IETF Internet-Draft proposing agentic authentication and policy enforcement, submitted with NVIDIA involvement.
AIP is an individual IETF Internet-Draft (draft-aip-agent-identity-protocol) last revised 16 March 2026 with NVIDIA-affiliated authorship; it defines a two-layer model of agent identity registration plus signature verification and policy enforcement. It is not an IETF-endorsed standard.
Caveat: Individual drafts have no formal IETF standing. The name 'AIP' is congested: other unrelated drafts use the same acronym.
